How was it born and why?

It was born from the desire to understand how “g upgraded recycled graphite” can improve the performance of geopolymer-based coatings and make the materials on which it is applied more resistant and durable. Furthermore, it is the result of the commitment to recover and enhance industrial by-products in a circular economy.

At the end of a complex research and development activity conducted in partnership with Alex Reggiani of Geomits and Alberto Saccozza of Saccozza Ingegneria, Alisea srl ​​has developed an exclusive patented compound based on “g upgraded recycled graphite”, which allows to obtain a low thickness coating.

What is it?

A low-thickness geopolymer-based mineral coating, with the addition of “g upgraded recycled graphite” and patented.

The combination of 9 ingredients derived from as many industrial by-products has generated a low-thickness coating with reduced environmental impact, capable of regenerating and protecting the surfaces on which it is applied.

The formulation is developed from time to time based on the specific needs of the materials to be protected and the performances that are desired. Graphii Coat 30GP is an innovative coating for the building industry awarded the Honorable Mention at the Compasso d’Oro ADI.

What is it for?

To regenerate and protect the surfaces on which it is applied with a reduced environmental impact, without the need for primer, offering adhesion, passivation and protection, in a single compound. The areas of use of Graphii Coat 30 GP range from construction to nautical.

Depending on the application area, it protects materials from: 
• Fire (resistance to 1200 degrees for more than 2 hours)

• Rust
• Oxidation
• Corrosion from acids and bases
• Abrasion and compression
• Chromatic changes from exposure to UV rays
