What is it?
Water-based protective paint system for wood, metal and plastic, customizable to specific needs.
How was it born and why?
The birth of g_ink is an example of symbiotic economy: how to have mutual advantages at a corporate level between companies that share the desire to develop responsible innovation based on shared values.
The initial question was: how to use “g upgraded recycled graphite” to protect wood from discoloration caused by UV rays and, at the same time, increase its resistance to scratches and wear? The goal was to create a painting solution, in a circular economy, that would improve the performance and environmental impact of wood, metal and plastic surfaces.
From this trigger, through a joint R&D process with partner companies, a supply chain was born that allows the use of g_ink to paint wood and metal and plastic. Depending on the purposes and needs of the users, the g_ink recipe is calibrated to measure to obtain different performances and different aesthetics.
What is it for?
